Recovered False Memories

Apparently I had a false memory of a comment I saw on the blog Political Tea Leaves. Or, that was the accusation. I related my memory of this comment, made by someone who posts on that blog anonymously. But the blogger insisted I was talking about something he never said.

What I was talking about was this person bringing up the film Mockingjay starring Jennifer Lawrence.

I brought up the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. I said I knew it happened because I saw it on TV. His response was that, yes, he also saw it on TV.

Looks like it wasn't a false memory after all. Even though I could not find this comment initially. I had to look awhile to find it. In the meantime the Anonymous commenter (who I previously referred to on this blog as naziQ) commented again about his disbelief that he ever said anything about this movie.

"Isn't it because there was no such comment". No. There WAS such a comment. Yet, somehow, this incident "proves" I am a cretin. Well, it proves I am a cretin ONCE AGAIN. Given that this person has "proved" me to be a cretin many-many times previously (he says).

The "factual references" he is referring to are quotes. He is continually asking for them. Even if the quote is in regards to things discussed many times previously. So I think it reasonable to go by our memories. REMEMBER what was said. Instead he implies I'm always lying. Why he asks for QUOTES. To prove he said what I say he did. Because (obviously) he didn't say it.

Did you know Google discontinued site search back in 2017? Which was quite awhile ago. Yet I just found this out. Although I definitely noticed that site search (which worked very well in the past) could not find shit. Why I could not locate the quote. Except by looking at every post for several months until I eventually came across it.

So how am I supposed to give quotes ALL THE TIME when there is no way to find them? Not easily. Which is why he asks for them, IMO. Everytime I bring up past comments it is the SAME refrain... "and you can quote?". If I can't find it, then that proves I am a liar. It is a GAME he plays.

I mean, I can bookmark things I think he might lie about in the future. But WHY would it occur to me that he would lie about referencing the movie Mockingjay? I had no way of knowing I'd ever have a reason to bring that up again. And I had no idea that would be something he'd lie about.

btw, I can believe that he forgot about this comment. This time. It was awhile ago. But I not believe that he forgets EVERY time. When I bring up past comments, he NEVER remembers. ALWAYS asks for a quote. That is how I am sure this is a game he plays.

Even if he argued something passionately over an extended period of time previously... some times goes by and he has NO memory of these conversations. I bring it up again and he says "you can quote?".

We were (for example) discussing the situation in Gaza. He indicated he had no concern for the civilians being killed. Because they are "accomplices". He even did not care about the children being killed. Because children are the responsibility of their parents. So, that there are children being killed is the fault of the "accomplice" parents.

Some time went by and I brought it up again. I was not expecting him to deny his "accomplices" accusation. He definitely sounded very certin that all the citizens of Gaza are "accomplices" of Hamas. But still I was asked for a quote. Apparently he had no memory of calling all the citizens of Gaza "accomplices".

Like I believe that. Unless he has brain damage that causes him to forget past conversations completely. ALL the time. How I know this person is a bigly liar.

btw, it appears that site search works with Bing. I'll have to switch to it for finding "quotes". If I continue debating this moron. Though it looks like Bing can't find the comment where the turd "Q" denied calling Gazans "accomplices". Maybe that is another "false memory"?
