This post concerns the Dotard/Biden potus debate that occurred on 9/29/2020. When moderator Chris Wallace asked "will you urge your supporters to stay calm during this extended period (while mail-in votes are counted) and not to engage in any civil unrest. And will you pledge tonight that you will not declare victory until the election has been independently certified", Dotard would not.
Earlier in the debate when Dotard was asked to denounce White Supremacist militia groups who are adding to the violence, he refused. He would only rail against "Antifa". When asked who he should denouce and Biden named the Proud Boys (a far-right fascist and neo-fascist male-only organization that promotes and engages in political violence), Dotard instructed his Proud Boy supporters to "stand back and stand by" :(
Outside of the debate, Proud Boys leader Joe Biggs saw Trump's remarks as permission to "fuck up" the group's foes. "Trump basically said to go fuck them up!" Biggs wrote on Parler, an alternative social media network that courts conservatives. "This makes me so happy". ...
Daryl Johnson, a former Department of Homeland Security intelligence analyst who in 2009 warned of the growing threat of far-right militias, told The Daily Beast that "within the context of Trump's statements which insinuate future voter fraud, a rigged election, etc, [it] sounds like a subtle endorsement of future use violence by the Proud Boys. Again, another statement by the president that fans the flames of fear and seems to support violent far right groups, rather than condemn them".
I predict Dotard will declare victory on election night. And I predict that, following Dotard's declaration of victory, we absolutely could see civil unrest in the streets of our cities. The Proud Boys are saying that is what they are standing by for. On orders from their White Supremacist leader :(

As per the video description, "The New York Times obtained President Trump's tax information extending over more than two decades. Reporting reveals that Trump paid 750 dollars in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency and paid zero income taxes in ten of the previous 15 years".

To be clear, "Christian" Conservatives aren't demanding more abortions with their words. With their words they say they want fewer abortions. They say this will be accomplished by getting rid of a woman's right to chose and forcing women to carry their rapist's babies to term. Also women who accidently get pregnant and do not want to go through the expense and danger to their health of a pregnancy. These women should also be subjected to forced pregnancies too.
But with their actions? They are definitely demanding more abortions. Given the fact that countries with stricter abortion laws have higher abortion rates.

Religious nutters like Amy Barrett also oppose contaeception, a surefire route to drive up abortion rates. Amy Barret (as per Huffpost) opposed the "birth control mandate in the Affordable Care Act that requires most private health insurance plans to cover birth control without a copay".
If Amy Barret is seated the ACA could be struck down before the end of the year. Had Barrett been on the court the last time republicans tried to get rid of the ACA, "she would have voted with the other Republican-appointed justices and said Obamacare was unconstitutional" (as per the previously linked to Huffpost article). After that she will be part of the 6-3 Conservative majority that will overturn Roe V Wade.
"That will happen, automatically in my opinion", Dotard said back in 2016 as a candidate. He was talking about him appointing just one justice (the appointment stolen from Barack Obama). Now that he has appointed/will appoint 3 justices, the "automatic" overturning of Roe V Wade needs only a case. Which some conservative group will ceratinly seek to get in front of the court ASAP.
As per the pro-Dotard blogger, Minus FJ, after ACB is seated "Roe will be overturned ending America's 62+ million abortions nightmare". But Minus is wrong. The nightmare will begin if/when Roe is overturned. Given that abortion rates will likely increase. As per the study by the Guttmacher Institute.
Quote: "In countries that restrict abortion, the percentage of unintended pregnancies ending in abortion has increased during the past 30 years, from 36% in 1990–1994 to 50% in 2015–2019".
By the way, the US public continues to favor legal abortion and opposes overturning Roe. This is according to an August 2019 Pew poll that says "a majority of Americans (61%) continue to say that abortion should be legal in all (27%) or most (34%) cases [and that] a smaller share of the public (38%) says abortion should be illegal in all (12%) or most cases (26%)".
Yet another example of how the "tyranny of the majority" that Conservatives fear is bullshit. The truth is that Conservatives love imposing their minority views upon the rest of us. The question is just how far the majority can be pushed before they've decided they've had enough. Why, I think, if Joe Biden wins the election and is sworn in a president (and ACB is seated beforehand), he will have no choice but to expand the court.
In order to undo the injustice of imposing minority rule upon the American people. And in order to save women's lives and reduce abortions.

According to Thom Hartmann, in 2000 the republican controlled legislature in Florida was considering passing legislation to just give it's electors to gwb (and that Jeb Bush would have signed the bill). But then the SCOTUS ruled the way it did -- so they didn't.
The point is that a state legislature almost gave it's electors to the loser of the popular vote in it's state in 2000 (before the SCOTUS intervened) -- and this scenario could play out in several swing states this year. Meaning Dotard could very clearly lose, but "win" anyway. And, given that it's Constitutional, public outcry is the ONLY thing that might stop legislators in swing states from handing their electors to Dotard. Even if it is the will of the people that they go to Joe Biden. In which case America is screwed [end comment from RN's blog].
I got the "get rid of the ballots" image from the blog Progressive Eruptions (Shaw Kenawe). Dotard really said that we should "get rid" of the ballots. Throw out mail in ballots cast by people legally entitled to vote in response to bogus claims that they are fradulent.
He is trying to use the fact that many people want to vote by mail (in response to the ongoing pandemic) to steal the election. Another reason why he's been downplaying the danger the virus poses. A a result Democrats are more likely to vote by mail this year. Why it might appear as though Dotard has won on election night (before the mail in ballots are counted). Dotard will challange these ballots and try to get as many of them thrown out as he can. On MSNBC they are referring to the probablity that it might look like Dotard is winning on election night as a "red mirage".

Dotard will not commit to a peaceful transfer of power because he intends to fight to hang onto power no matter what the election results are. Unless (perhaps) the results overwhelmingly favor Joe Biden. And maybe not even then. Certainly (if that is the case) Dotard will complain loudly about how bigly fraud was committed by people who mailed in their ballots.
And he will attempt to push off certification by the states of their election results past December 14 (the safe harbor date). This is the date by which The 1887 Electoral Count Act requires that the states say who their electors will be. If it is unclear (in any particular state) who won -- maybe the state will pass a law that says who their electors will be. As I previously noted, Florida almost passed such legislation in 2000 to say (forget a recount), it's electors would go to George W bush.
Maybe some swing states (with republican legislatures and republican governors) will actually pass such legislation this year? That would "get rid of the ballots" (override the will of the people) and just give a state's electors to Dotard. And the majority Conservative Supreme Court might say, "yes, this is Constitutional". Clearly Dotard is signaling he believes this is what will happen. Then it's goodbye Democracy, hello Dotard -- America's first unelected autocrat.

Regarding the MSNBC video, I like Elie Mystal's take very much. Let's hope that Joe Biden changes his mind about court packing. I saw video of him on MSNBC in which he says he is against it. That was before the death of RGB, however. Now, I say the republicans have given us no choice. If Dotard nominates a candidate (who will surely be anti-choice, anti-LGBT and pro-corporate) and that candidate is voted on and seated, we will have no choice but to expand the court.

Following the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I am positive Joe Biden and his team are mulling who President Biden will select to replace her. As per Ginsberg herself, a Clinton-appointed justice who was cherished by many (and hated by the right, many of whom prayed for her death), a replacement should not be appointed until after the next president has been sworn in.

According to the UK Daily Mail (as per a witness) "Reinoehl was not obviously armed with a firearm and was eating candy when the officers opened fire without warning". The witness also stated that the "cops did not identify themselves or try to arrest the suspect".
"Coroners ruled Reinoehl's death a homicide... An autopsy revealed he died from multiple shots to his head and torso". Will any of the shooters be held accountable? I doubt it. Meanwhile the pro-Dotard blogger Minus FJsays (about Kyle) "Too bad that not a jury in the world would ever convict him". Maybe, maybe not. He isn't a police officer. Therefore he does not have a license to kill.
A license to kill being the claim of seeing a gun. Or the claim of believing the suspect was going for a gun. Even if the "gun" turns out to be a cell phone. Or the "going for a gun" is BS. That, or they can claim the suspect was "resisting arrest". So they had to proceed "by the book" and put the suspect in a choke hold (Eric Garner) -- or put their knee on their neck (George Floyd) and snuff the life out of them.

After eight years of vacancy, the mansion and its out-buildings were leveled and the property was subdivided into three smaller lots and sold by the company Rybolovlev controlled.
But there is some new context to this strange sale. It comes from Trump's former fixer, lawyer and confidante, Michael Cohen, who ... wrote in his newly released book, "Disloyal: A Memoir", that Rybolovlev wasn't the real buyer of the Palm Beach estate.
[According to] Cohen [Trump told him]... "The oligarchs are just fronts for Putin. He puts them into wealth to invest his money. ... That's all they are doing – investing Putin's money".
So, how is paying 53.7 million more for a property than the original owner sold it for (and 30 million more than it's appraised value) an "investment"? The answer is that the investment wasn't the property, the investment was Dotard. An investiment by Putin (as per Dotard) that is currently paying off in spades.

Just as most of the BLM protests have been non-violent. As per Wikipedia, Branco "is known for his conservative deep state conspiracy driven cartoons". You don't say.

At least when John F. Kennedy appointed his brother Robert Attorney General, we got a highly qualified and competent AG. As opposed to the Dotard family members in advisory roles. Their primary purpose (in being in those positions) is to steal as much taxpayer money as they can.

Maybe she means she'll get a salary bump if Dotard is "reelected" and go from "earning" 180k for being Dotard Jr's girlfriend to millions. Closer to what Jared and Ivana Jr are making would mean she could potentially "earn" many times more than her current salary (for what, banging Dotard Jr?).
