The pr0-d0n0ld bl0gger Minus FJ says Democrats are an "elite party run by billionaires". Apparently he believes it's impossible for the Democratic Party to represent the average American because working class Americans aren't running the DNC.
Meanwhile, republicans CAN represent Average Americans, because tRump's incoming cabinet can relate to working class Americans. Proven by their lowly net worths... @@

Trump assembling US cabinet of billionaires worth combined $340 Billion. 12/6/2024 Article from The Guardian by Robert Tait. Excerpts.
Enough billionaires and multimillionaires have been assembled by Donald Trump to fill key roles in his nascent administration to form a soccer team. In a recruitment process that appears to mock his campaign's appeal to working-class voters, the president-elect has brazenly tapped a gallery of mega-rich backers for key positions that, in some instances, will give them power to cut spending on public services that are used by the most poor and vulnerable. At least 11 picks for strategic positions after Trump returns to the White House in January have either achieved billionaire status themselves, have billionaire spouses or are within touching distance of that threshold. The net result will be the wealthiest administration in US history -– worth a total of $340 Billion at the start of this week, before Trump further boosted its monetary value by trying to appoint at least three more billionaires. |
The Economic Times says "Trump 2.0 cabinet is far richer than his first term cabinet and almost 2881 times richer than the outgoing president, Joe Biden's cabinet, which has a combined wealth of a mere $118 Million.
Going by the picks so far, it looks like Turd-2 will be 2881 times more out of touch than the Biden Administration. Yet Minus believes that d0n0ld's cabinet of Bilionaires will somehow be MORE attuned to the needs and concerns of working class Americans? Yeah, that's a claim that is obviously bullplop.
Though I think the point Minus is making is that Democrats run on being for the working class. While republicans run as being for the wealthy. So republicans are adhearing to their promise (with these billionaire appoinments) to inflict hardship on the average American.
And, apparently, that is what the voters who cast their ballots for tRump/Vance were hungering for. They love hardship and want more of it. Well, they are going to get it. Along with people who didn't want hardship, and so voted for Harris/Walz. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Video: Dec 6, 2024. India Today Global. President-elect Donald Trump is assembling the wealthiest cabinet in US history, with a combined net worth of over $340 billion. From tech moguls like Elon Musk to business tycoons like Linda McMahon and Vivek Ramaswamy, what does this mean for the working class?
These billionaires are taking these jobs to futher enrich themselves. As Elon Musk admitted, his goal is to inflict hardship on the American people. While he personally gets significantly richer. As Joy Reid said recently her MSNBC program, Turd-2 will be the largest smash-and-grab in human history.
Ambassadors are Cabinet members? Who knew?
ReplyDeletebtw - Luxury Values are aspirational. "Strivers be Us"!
DeleteAmbassadors are administration members. d0n0ld appointed the criminal father of his son in law, Jared.
DeleteThey're NOT Cabinet members.
DeleteNeither article cited says Charles Kushner is in the cabinet. My list of Billionaires appointed by d0n0ld to Turd-2 isn't included in either article.
DeleteMe: Did Joe Biden appoint any billionaires to be members of his cabinet or administration? if any, who are they?
DeleteCopilot: President Joe Biden's Cabinet and administration do not include any billionaires. The total net worth of his Cabinet is significantly lower compared to previous administrations, such as Donald Trump's, which included several billionaires. (end copilot response).
trump's CABINET picks (as per the cited Guardian article) are worth $10.7 Billion. Joe Biden's CABINET has a combined net worth of approximately $118 million.
10.7 billion is approximately 90.68 times more than 118 million. If you're looking for a correction to the 2881 times more in my blog post title. In your mind that makes the Turd-2 CABINET much more IN TOUCH with the American people? Because they are (so far) "only" 90 times wealthier than the Biden CABINET?
...but I'm sure your right about one thing, the Salaried Bourgeoisie and Professional Government Bureaucrats of the Biden Administration are 1,000x more competent than actual billionaire business owners, since they invest "other people's money (taxpayers)" rather than their own. Just look how successful they are at it! The 2016 $1b+ Obama/ Biden Cancer Moonshot! Woo-Hoo!
ReplyDeleteI think MAHA will prevent more cancers than the Cancer Moonshot will ever cure.
DeleteThere will be a cure for cancer one day... but it will be handled much like the Human Genome Project handled decoding Human DNA... by eminent domain stealing the solution from private enterprise (Craig Venter @ Celera Genomics).
DeleteMAHA is fake.
DeleteMAHA is RFK Jr. running HHS.
Deleterfkrj is going to take on Big Food get them to remove corn syrup from their products? He's going to eliminate US corn subsidies for American farmers? I don't believe it. Their lobbyists won't like such plans. If he even proposes them.
DeleteCopilot: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can't unilaterally ban or reduce corn syrup in food products without legislative action. Any significant changes to food regulations, such as banning or limiting the use of high-fructose corn syrup, would typically require legislation passed by Congress.
As Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kennedy could advocate for such changes and work with lawmakers to propose new regulations. He could also influence policies through the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which falls under the Department of Health and Human Services. However, sweeping changes like banning an ingredient would likely need broader legislative support. (end copilot response).
I predict MAHA won't happen. Like with trade reform, the rest of congress needs to take action. They didn't during Turd-1. They won't during Turd-2. Emperor d0n0ld can impose his tariffs on the American people (which will increase prices significantly) but he can't do trade reform. Congressional action would be required for that. MAHA would require congressional action. rfkrj has no power to impose it without legislation passed by Congress.
"MAHA is RFK Jr. running HHS" = no, it's not. Legislation passed by Congress would be necessary.
HHS provides "the science" upon which legislation follows. :)
DeleteThat CAN happen. It's not a given. Is rfkjr a scientist? Or are you not referring to science at all, given that you put "the science" in quotes and deeply distrust scientists working for the government. Is "the science" whatever rfkjr thinks? Congress isn't obligated to act on what rfkjr wants.
